A 2011 Volkswagen Golf Plus 1.4 TSI was brought to our car workshop in Berlin following an accident. The rear left door was so badly damaged that it no longer closed properly and the window regulator had stopped working. In this case, we will show you how we replaced the rear door and adjusted all the door mechanisms.
VW Golf Plus: Rear left door damaged after an accident
In this VW Golf Plus, the rear left door was bent in the lower area after the accident. As a result, the door was no longer watertight and could no longer be securely closed. The window regulator on the affected side also no longer worked. Damage like this is typical after a side impact and often affects not only the door panel, but also the lock, window regulator, and panel gaps.

The replacement of the door
Master Andrey removed the damaged door. In its place, he gradually fitted the new door, working carefully and precisely. Once everything was fitted and the gaps adjusted, we began calibrating the door mechanisms. Everything works perfectly, the door closes as it should.
