This article is about what carelessness and delayed maintenance can do to your car.
Our Savtrans Berlin garage received a call that a Volkswagen Tiguan 2.0 TDI, 2007, does not start. We provided the customer with a tow truck to take the car for repair.

Diagnosis:
After mechanic Andrej had lifted the car onto the lift, he carried out an inspection, which revealed the following:
- Worn tensioner pulley
- Torn and worn alternator belt
This doesn't happen that often, but sometimes such „patients” are brought to us.

Our mechanics ordered a new belt and a new pulley, which were then installed.
We strongly advise against getting your car into such a state, as you are primarily endangering yourself and others.
Our Savtrans Berlin garage can provide a tow truck if your car is no longer roadworthy.
