Heating not working? VW Golf 7 - Change heating radiator in Berlin

Recently, a customer came with a Volkswagen Golf VII, GTI, 2015 to us in the Savtrans Berlin car workshop. He had a problem with the heating: the interior of the vehicle was not getting warm and cool air was flowing out of the air vents.

• We have connected the computer
• We started the vehicle and switched on the heating
• We visually checked the interior for antifreeze leaks

  As part of the diagnosis, our mechanics determined that the heater cooler needed to be replaced due to heavy soiling inside.

Replacing the heating radiator - procedure

1. All plugs leading to the heater disconnected
2. Drain the coolant
3. Dismantled the lower part of the dashboard
4. Remove the old radiator
5. The new cooler installed
6. All connections reconnected
7. Computer-controlled calibration of the flaps carried out
8. Started the vehicle and switched on the heating.
   A test drive was then carried out: The engine was brought up to operating temperature and it was ensured that the heater was supplying warm air and that no antifreeze was leaking.
