A BMW 116i, built in 2016, was brought to the MOT test in Car workshop Savtrsns Berlin brought. Our mechanic carried out a comprehensive preliminary diagnosis to ensure that the vehicle passed the test without any problems.

Preparation for the TÜV
Before the MOT, it is important to check the vehicle in advance. This avoids rejections and unnecessary costs. We do not content ourselves with a superficial inspection - we thoroughly check all important assemblies.
As part of the preliminary inspection, the mechanic checked the following:
- Suspension - condition of the control arms, silent blocks, presence of play
- Brake system - brake pads, brake discs and braking effect
- Steering - no play and no unusual noises
- Engine - Oil and fluid leakage
- Lighting - headlights, indicators, brake lights
- Exhaust system - noise level and emissions
- Tyres - tread depth and overall condition
- Bodywork - corrosion and damage

What was determined
During the review, we identified some typical problems:
- Worn front brake pads
- Small cracks on the silent blocks
- dim light on one of the headlights
Such minor issues often lead to rejection by the TÜV, so it is important to rectify them in advance.
How we fixed the problems
Our mechanics immediately set to work on the repair:
- You have replaced the brake pads
- You have replaced the worn parts of the suspension
- You have set and restored the lighting
The vehicle then passed the test again and was completely ready for the main inspection.

Result of the TÜV test
The BMW 116i passed the MOT test without any complaints and received the official certificate. The owner saved time and avoided further visits.
